04 · Policies

How we operate

Quality policies guide how ITS ensures the excellence of its certification services. These are the same principles our auditors and committees are bound by.

§01Quality Policy

Inspection and Testing Services "ITS" is committed to providing the customer great service, great support, and a compliant, efficient, effective, and enjoyable experience.

ITS's committees have set up and maintain a quality management system based on applicable legislation and the international standards ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015, plus documents issued by recognised accreditation organisations.

ITS provides services in a professional, impartial, and transparent manner, and does not provide consultancy or any activity that may influence its reliability and impartiality. ITS is committed to continual improvement, ongoing staff training, and full implementation of its quality management system without deviation.

§02Impartiality Policy

Inspection and Testing Services "ITS" declares that it will comply with the requirements of, and ensure impartiality within, all its certification activities. Confidentiality, objectivity, and impartiality are not affected by the activities of certified clients.

To demonstrate this, ITS will not:

Provide consultancy for realization, continuity, or sustenance of certification; design, implement, or maintain a management system for a client; certify on behalf of another certification body; allow personnel to provide certification services to any consultancy; allow a consultancy to market or offer ITS's activities; imply that certification would be simpler or faster through a specific consultancy; or allow any pressure - financial, trade, administrative, or moral - to affect its personnel's execution of their duties.

ITS identifies, documents, and eliminates or reduces any threats to impartiality arising from its relationships, and will not undertake certification where an unacceptable impartiality threat exists.

§03Trademark Policy

Inspection and Testing Services "ITS" has a certification logo ("trademark") which may be used by certified clients only while certification remains valid and the requirements defined in ITS's certification procedure are met. The logo may appear on letterhead and promotional materials.

The logo must not appear on reports or certificates outside the certification scope, on products or business cards, or be used at all while a certificate is suspended or after it has been withdrawn. Inappropriate use may result in suspension of certification; repeated misuse may lead to withdrawal. Use of a fake logo is a penal offense.

§04Suspension, Withdrawal and Reinstatement

Missed surveillance audit: if a surveillance audit is not conducted within the allowed time frame (typically ±3 months from the due date), ITS issues a notice of intent to suspend the certificate. Continued non-compliance results in suspension.

During suspension: the organisation must not use the certificate or any certification logo on official documents, and relevant stakeholders must be notified where required.

Reinstatement after suspension: the organisation must coordinate with ITS to schedule the overdue audit, complete it successfully, and close any non-conformities identified. ITS may then lift the suspension.

Re-certification after withdrawal: if a certificate is withdrawn, the organisation must reapply as a new applicant, undergo a full initial certification audit (Stage 1 and Stage 2), sign a new contract, and pay all applicable fees. A new certificate is issued with a new validity period.
